Bonus Episode: Karen Dilfer, MS, OTR/L
On this episode we talk to Karen Dilfer about the Get Permission approach to pediatric feeding. Karen is an occupational therapist, and the founder of Eat with Karen, an in-home occupational therapy service that works with families and children who are experiencing mealtime challenges. She is also a founding member of the Chicago Feeding Group, a non-profit organization that seeks to support parents and professionals who work with children who struggle to eat. Karen shares not only why it’s important for OTPs to address feeding but strategies to increase your knowledge and skill set.
